As part of Mayor de Blasio’s Small Business First initiative to improve the regulatory environment for businesses, the NYC Department of Small Business Services is working to engage entrepreneurs in developing online services for businesses.
On November 10, SBS convened a meeting of online user experience professionals from companies across the New York area to offer advice and suggestions to a team of students from General Assembly helping Small Business First to re-imagine online business services.
As a result, the General Assembly students had a chance to discuss their ideas with people who work on user experience projects every day, strengthening the product that they presented to the Small Business First team on November 13.
