Earlier this week, NYC Department of Small Business Services staff hosted a meet and greet in Staten Island with the following city agencies:
- Mayor’s Community Affairs Unit
- Department of Consumer Affairs
- Department of Environmental Protection
- Department of Buildings
- Department of Health & Mental Hygiene
- Department of Transportation
- Department of Sanitation
- Fire Department of New York
- Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings
More than 105 business owners were able to speak directly with agency representatives about specific problems and concerns. Attendees were members of the following Staten Island business groups:
- Bucks Business Network
- SIEDC
- Staten Island Chamber of Commerce Business Guild 1
- BNI - Staten Island
- The Executive Club of Staten Island
This event was powered by Small Business First, a comprehensive plan to reduce the regulatory burden on small businesses and increase compliance in all five boroughs.
