On August 5th, 28 participants graduated from our Food Business Pathways program, designed to help NYCHA residents start and grow their food businesses.
Participants received eight weeks of intense classroom training, a chance to apply for free kitchen incubator space, grants to cover the costs of licenses and permits, and additional business coaching to complete their next steps in their journey as entrepreneurs.
Food Business Pathways is a unique collaboration between SBS, Citi Community Development, NYCHA, nycedc, Hot Bread Kitchen, and Start Small Think Big.
