Last December, the de Blasio administration released A Roadmap for Supporting Veteran-Owned Businesses, which looked at veteran-owned businesses in New York City and created seven recommendations for how we can better meet their needs through training, outreach, networking, and identification.
We are pleased to announce that we have accomplished one of our key recommendations. Now, veteran business owners who want to contract or are already contracting with the City can identify themselves through the Payee Information Portal (PIP).
