NYCEDC is excited to announce the 2nd year of Take the H.E.L.M.: Hire and Expand in Lower Manhattan, a competition to recognize innovative companies across industries locating or expanding in Lower Manhattan. Over $1.25 million dollars in prizes will be awarded to up to 20 companies, with 4 winners receiving $250,000 each, 4 runners-up receiving $50,000 each and all other finalists receiving $10,000 each.
The competition is open to all businesses, and creative and technology businesses (both start-ups and more mature companies) are encouraged to apply. Tech finalists will receive an opportunity to pitch to FirstMark Capital. All finalists will interview with a distinguished panel of judges.
